RELEASE OF LIABILITY:

Information found on FiftyToLife.com is meant for educational and informational purposes only. It is not intended to diagnose any physical or mental condition, to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, or to prescribe or promote any particular product(s). It is not intended as a substitute for the advice and treatment of a licensed professional.

Statements or claims about possible health benefits conferred by a food, activity or supplement have not been evaluated by the FDA.*

*I am required to say that. I have no respect for or belief in anything the FDA endorses. In fact, if it is FDA or USDA endorsed, or, come to think of it, WHO, CDC, TSA, ICE, CIA, FBI, DEA, IKEA, DOE, DOT, FOX, DHS or ABC endorsed, I avoid it. Like the plague.

Conversely, if any alphabet agency warns against a product, I immediately investigate it as quite possibly being worth my time and energy. If it’s a food they want to ban, I don’t even need to investigate it: I run out, get some and eat it in the car on the way home.

In the event that you use the information for your own health, or for that of your animals or another human being, you are then prescribing for yourself/them, as is your constitutional right, and for which the author of FiftyToLife.com — who is neither a legal counselor nor a health practitioner — assumes no responsibility.

The fact that I may have healed myself of some malady is not to be taken as proof that my cure will work for you. Conventional advice is that, if one were to try any of the wacky treatments I’ve tried, one might be well advised to consult a doctor first. Perhaps even a mental health professional.

But, honestly, that would not be my advice. I wouldn’t talk to a doctor first about anything having to do with my health. I avoid Western-trained medical doctors — with few exceptions — like the, um, plague. Seriously. I make my health choices based on what I read and hear from other people who have tried those choices: in books, on the internet, at other blogs and websites, from alternative medical doctors and practitioners, from some Western-trained medical doctors, and from forums. Then I try it on myself. I’m still alive, happy and healthier than I’ve ever been. But you make your own decisions.

COPYING ORIGINAL FiftyToLife.com POSTS:

Like to share something you read on FiftyToLife.com? I’m thrilled! You have my permission with three caveats:

#1 You can only share partial posts with a link back to FiftyToLife.com as follows:

<a href=”URL OF THE BLOG POST YOU ARE SHARING (be sure to leave in the quote marks before and after)” target=”_blank”>Continue reading here!</a>

The target=”_blank” makes sure my blog will open in a new tab/window so the reader will not leave your blog. You can delete this part if this is not important to you.

The Trouble:
If you were to copy the entire post, there is a chance that Google will “D” list us both. Not good!

#2 You may not modify the post in any way.

#3 You attribute the post to FiftyToLife.com as follows:“I found this post at www.FiftyToLife.com interesting today” or “Here are some good tips on ____ from www.FiftyToLife.com.” Something like that.

REVIEWS:

If a product or service I have blogged about was given to me or if I was able to purchase it at a discount, I will disclose that fact in the post.

If you’re interested in having me review your product/book/service on this site, please contact me at hello [AT] FiftyToLife.com. I cannot tell a lie: receiving your free product does NOT mean it will automatically receive a good review. If you ask me to review your product and I don’t like it, I will either write an honest review with your permission or I will not review it.
